This page explains what personal data Orbixylabs handles when you visit orbixylabs.com or get in touch with us, and what your rights are.

Who we are

ORBIXYLABS LTD ("we", "us") is a software company registered in England and Wales, company number 17177342, with its registered office at Office 1160, 60 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 2EW. We are the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us about anything in this policy at contact@orbixylabs.com.

What we collect

• Server logs. When you load the site, our hosting provider records technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use this to keep the site secure and working.
• Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you choose to write. We use this to reply and to discuss a possible project with you.

This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and has no forms that collect data.

Why we are allowed to use it

• Legitimate interests, for server logs: running and protecting the website.
• Steps before a contract, and legitimate interests, for emails: answering your enquiry and preparing a proposal you asked for.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Railway, which hosts this website and keeps the server logs.
• Zoho Mail, which provides our email, on servers in the European Union.

Some providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider and then deleted.
• Enquiry emails are kept for up to two years after our last contact, or for as long as we work together and for six years afterwards where we need records of a contract.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or transfer it, and you can object to our use of it. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@orbixylabs.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
